What a wonderful group of pictures, Sonia.....I LOVE seeing so very many beautiful birds taking off in flight! Your capturing this "happening" is just splendid, my dear!
What a sight! And the first two photos -- so funny; they're lined up on the shore like they're watching a sporting event. Which, come to think of it, they are.
Sonia, dear friend, how lovely that you called by! with such sweet comments. You and Carlos have done a beautiful job capturing the birds at the dam. Bird photography can be quite difficult and sometimes one needs lots of patience to get the shot! Your camera captures movement very well. Mine doesn't! Take care of you and yours dear Sonia Much love Rose
This wonderful series of photographs has tremendous momentum, Sonia. I couldn't help humming "Wind Beneath My Wings" while I scrolled back and forth through the photos!
I love it - the variety of black and white birds makes it even better. I'd love to spend a day on the beach.

Do these birds stay at the dam all year? Or do they fly to warmer weather during your winters?
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful Sonia.. the water, the sky, the clouds! The birds on lift-off!!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! Look how many there are!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful to catch them in flight! And watch them on the water.

ReplyDeleteThe birds are beautiful! Can't help it, Sonia, but my eye's always attracted to the landscape. And the landscapes alone are stunning.
