My friend Karin from the blog Altadena Hiker told me on e-mail that she wanted to add the Caetano Veloso music "Você é linda", that means in English "You are beautiful" to my post: "Why does everything sound just a little more beautiful when it’s said in Portuguese? Wish I understood your language. That’s what your view and your daughter’s lovely pictures made me think of."
