"The Bridge of Madison County"... "As Pontes de Madison"...

'The Bridge of Madison County' (1995) is a romantic film direct by Clint Eastwood, starring Clint and Meryl Streep. Another one of my favorite movies that I highly recommend! I review it many times and I think that the film is not new to you.
'The Bridges of Madison County' is a 1992 best-selling novel by Robert James Waller that tells the story of a married but lonely Italian woman Francesca (Meryl Streep) living in 1960s Madison County, Iowa. She engages in an affair with a National Geographic photographer from Bellingham, Washington, Robert Kincaid (Clint Eastwood) who had come to Madison County to create a photographic essay for National Geographic on the covered bridges in the area. The affair took place while her husband and children were away at the Illinois State Fair.

'As Pontes de Madison' (1995) é um filme romântico dirigido por Clint Eastwood, interpretado por ele e por Meryl Streep. Este é outro dos meus filmes favoritos que eu recomendo! Eu o revi várias vezes e penso que não ele não é novidade para vocês.

'As Pontes de Madison' foi baseado no best seller de 1992 escrito por Robert James Waller, que conta a história de Francesca (Meryl Streep), uma dona de casa italiana residente no Iowa. Enquanto o seu marido e filhos vão a uma feira em Illinois, ela conhece e se apaixona por um fotógrafo, da revista 'National Geographic', Robert Kincaid, (Clint Eastwood), que chegou ao condado de Madison, para fotografar as pontes cobertas de Madison, para a revista 'National Geographic'.

The 'Roseman Covered Bridge' is a historic covered bridge in Winterset, Iowa. It was built in 1883 over the Middle River, and renovated in 1992. In Robert James Waller’s novel, The Bridges of Madison County, and the movie of the same name, Roseman is the bridge Robert Kincaid seeks when he stops at Francesca Johnson’s home for directions. It is also where Francesca leaves her note inviting him to dinner.
These cover bridges are very beautiful and this kind of bridge always attract me!
The 'Roseman Covered Bridge' é uma histórica ponte coberta em Wintesset, Iowa. Ela foi construída em 1883 sobre o Middle River e restaurada em 1992. No romance de Robert James, 'The Bridges of Madison County' e no filme do mesmo nome, Roseman é a ponte que o fotógrafo Robert Kincaid procura para fotografar e também onde Francesca deixa um bilhete convidando-o para jantar.
