I remember you showing us the sculptures from 2008...They are simply AMAZING! What is fascinating in the video you included is how "living" like the piece moves---especially when you can see people and dogs in the background on the beach there---It is really stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the wonderful reminder of this man's terrificly original and talented work, dear Sonia....!
Oi Sonia, great to see a new post. Missed you!
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of this sculptor. Thanks for introducing his work. I had a huge WOW! moment when I saw your video and had to go see the rest! They are magnificent as art but I'm sure there's a lot of science in them too.
Did you notice the dogs in your vid are unconcerned by the huge monster "walking" by? Georgia would either have gone nuts or been petrified lol. The sculptures must be there quite often. I wish this man would make something for OUR Scultures By The Sea here in Sydney.
Have a great Sunday x
I have seen these somewhere before but thank you for reminding me. The engineering and art required are outstanding.
ReplyDeleteNunca tinha viso!!!Sensacional!!Adorei!!!beijos praianos,tudo de bom,chica
ReplyDeleteCara Sonia,
ReplyDeleteFabuloso!
Those are amazing, they look like they should blow away. I'd love to see those walking along the beach.
ReplyDeleteOi Sonia
Adorei.
deixo abraço
Lunar buggy or giant caterpillar?

ReplyDeleteI would like the make the last one a house and live in it. These sculptures are so cool.
ReplyDeleteInteresting, Amazing, Amusing piece of creativity. Isn't it amazing what human brains can conceive and design!. Although i wonder what would be the reaction of someone who sees these objects moving in the dark without having any prior info about them :)
