REMEMBRANCE OF MY GRANDPARENTS... LEMBRANÇA DOS MEUS AVÓS...
My grandmother Isabel, my father's side. (At my parent's house in 1946) Minha avó Isabel, mãe do meu pai. (Na casa de meus pais em 1946) My grandfather Felício, my mother's side. (1946) Meu avô Felício, pai da minha mãe. (1946)
Beautiful, just beautiful, a moment full of life and the bittersweetness of Now captured forever. I like your piece on Freddie Bulsara, who was born a Parsi like me :)
love your old pictures, sonia. you've actually inspired me to start something like this for my own family...been looking in boxes and hidden places for old pictures and knick-knacks. brings back memories. saudades.
I like so much these family photos, Sonia. They remind me of my youth together with my aunts and uncles. Beautiful the videos of the previous post, the second one is very imaginative. Have a nice day :-)
Beautiful photographs Sonia. I miss my grandparents. I never knew either of my Grandfathers. They died before I was born. I did spend a great deal of time with both of my Grandmas and that was cool!! I once stayed overnight with Grandma R. I jumped up and down on the bed and then it collapsed and we both had a big laugh. My paternal Grandma lived with us and was one of the best cooks ever!!She came to the United States from Russian as a little little girl. Her recipes were in her head. I miss them.
You always habe the most WONDERFUL photographs of your Family....I LOVE these two pictures. Your Grandmother looks so thoughtful and Beautiful.....And your Grandfather, too...Looking right into the Camera! "Here I Am"! Marvelous!
Nostalgia! Já viu o barulho que essa palavra faz ao final? Lembra uma cachoeira, um chiado e depois um silêncio ao final. Ela esquenta para vaziar-se, nos deixando exposto ao que foi belo. De muta ternura essas suas lembranças! Beijus,
Isabel is beautiful, just as my grandmother Isabel was. :)
