ReplyDelete..as I sit here in the 20's degrees- it's always nice to see your GREEN pictures :) I think of all the things people could use the palm for if you were stranded on an island!
ReplyDeleteThat's the wonderful thing about living in the same house for decades, you get to see beautiful things grow and flourish over the years. All the beautiful trees you've planted so long ago are real treasures. I'm sure you love each one of them dearly.

I need to catch up with you.
Mary
Sonia, I just love that last picture of the bottom part of The Palm....
ReplyDeleteI have a couple of Palms down nelow, and I love that there are all sorts of other plabts growing in the bottom...Ferns, and the Red Tree, etc....
The furry hairy stuff is very very pretty....I know what a thrill it is to have watched this Palm grow over these 32 years....! Mine has been down there for 20 years and I was told it wouldn't really get big.....LOL! THey were wrong!
The trunk of the palm is really spectacular! Do you often search the shadow under the palm?
ReplyDeletelovely, especially the textures and patterns in the bottom one. It must be great getting to see the fruits of your labour, we have developed so many gardens over the years, then moved before getting to see them fully established.

Well Sonia, you may live wayyyy across the ocean from me, but we have the same tree in our yards! LOL
ReplyDeleteOurs isn't as big as this one, and yours is just gorgeous!!
I have a photography meme that I'm doing, which I think you'd be PERFECT for.
Would you (and your readers) like to join me? Bring your camera and come on over to my site for details!
I think you all might like this one. :)
Hi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteI love the view of the palm from your bedroom. How nice that you've been able to watch it grow over the many years..
xo
Sonia: ÁSPERAS mas BELAS! Tens razão!
ReplyDeleteBjs
Faltou dizer: MUITO BEM TRATADAS!
