I wonder if the rubber tree has any relation to the giant Banyan trees I saw in Key West and other places in Florida.

Merisi: I Google and see that the Banyan tree is a fig that starts its life as an epiphyte when its seeds germinate in the cracks and crevices on a host tree (or on structures like buildings and bridges). "Banyan" often refers specifically to the species Ficus benghalensis. Thanks for visiting and comment!

Sonia, lindas fotos das árvores e também da cidade de S.J.Rio Pardo. O casario da época áurea do café mostram uma cidade acolhedora, típica do nosso interior.
O engraçado que andando pelo Brasil afora, quantas estátuas do Cristo Redentor encontramos. Mesmo no interior do nordeste é muito comum.

When you look at that Rubber tree..It Is HUGE! hen you look closely and it looks like 100 rubbers trees in a ckump...Like a "bouquet" of Runner Trees...(lol)..Beautiful...Just Beautiful. And those Flamboyant Red Trees----GORGEOUS! I remember when you posted some pictures of some of these trees closer to your home...(I think I am remembering that rightr...?? LOL..)

In Darwin Australia there are a few huge "Banyon" Rubber trees just like yours.

Sonia, eu acho o flamboyant uma das coisas mais bonitas que a Natureza nos oferece. Existe o flamboyantzinho (uma espécie de glamboyant) que cresce pouco, e tem flores menores. Aqui no Rio a Prefeitura andou plantando bastante em algumas ruas. É uma planta que pega bem em quase todos os terrenos. Eu tenho umas quatro que eu mesmo plantei e cultivei.

Ontem passamos por "fora" de São José do Rio Pardo,vindo de Minas e lembrei-me que seu marido era de lá...comentei com meu marido,não entramos na cidade,pois estava chovendo.
Esses flamboyants me deixam louca...rsss...aí que lindo Sonia...parabéns...
Estivemos em Avaré, e falei com minhas irmãs sobre o Espaço da sua filha e elas iam procurar saber onde era.
Um amiga que mora no Jardim Europa fez um chá e convidou outras amigas para irem lá para ver meu trabalho e antes que eu fizesse o comentário sobre a sua filha,uma amiga levou um folder dos cursos para todo mundo ver.
E comentamos sobre o fato e uma delas iria fazer no dia seguinte um curso de sobremesas geladas.Falei de voce, e uma delas parece que era prima da outra sócia da sua filha.Legal,né?
tomara que dê certo...
