I'm posting this photo from my fence, so today I wanted an image that would say "shadow and freshness" to me.

These trees are totally beautiful. Pictures can not give the feeling! You have to seat under these trees, smell and feel the perfume and the freshness of the place.

Update: I just switch the layout of Leaves of Grass to add news tools on my page and also to download huge photos. This work is in progress.
hello Sonia,
ReplyDeleteI share your love for trees...
... every tree near our house had a name of its own and a special identity.
This was the beginning of my love for natural things, for earth and sky,
for roads and fields and woods, for trees and grass and flowers; a love
which has been second only to my sense of enduring kinship with birds
and animals, and all inarticulate creatures.

Your trees are truly beautiful Sonia. I love the angle of these photos, and it does look like such a shady and inviting place to sit and drink in the beauty of the world.

Hi Sonia,
ReplyDeleteI just noticed you are reading "I feel bad about my neck" - I loved that book (but I keep forgetting to update my "Currently reading" section).
Trees are some of my favorite things on earth.
I have finally remembered to put your blog on my list of favorite people. You have done a great job on making the pictures big. And they are really beautiful pictures!! I love trees (we are planting more this spring!).
