The classic Hotel Astoria, in Coimbra, is situated at the Largo da Portagem, (Toll square), that is the main entrance to the city and faces the Santa Clara Bridge. The Hotel Astoria, one of the beautiful architectural symbol of the city of Coimbra, was built in 1926.

ReplyDeleteNeat views of this place in Portugal. I find it interesting how the buildings are built on the hillsides like that. That hotel is amazing looking. There is a town called (Astoria) in Oregon State in the USA.
