A giant talent. Yes, "makes me shiver" is a good description!
ReplyDeleteI am very familiar with his work and have always enjoyed his music....Music in a film is so very important in every way----I've always been aware of the music in films since I was a child....Barry was like one of the old wonderful composers of the 30's and 40's.....Really really special!
ReplyDeleteI was not aware of much of his work -- thank you for sharing! He's awesome!
ReplyDeleteHe has certainly written the music for some famous films - everybody's heard his music, even if they don't know it.
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to believe the score for Out of Africa came from the same brain that composed Goldfinger. Thank you for this wonderful selection -- Somewhere in Time was new to me.
Beijus,
Wonderful shares! true film... Happy Mother's day to you!!!!
ReplyDeleteTrilhas sonoras marcantes!
ReplyDeleteFantástico post Sonia! Obrigada pela partilha! Beijos!
