ReplyDeleteYes, this was fun, and very beautifully laid out. It is surprising how much pets have been involved in art. Thank you. This was very pleasant.
ReplyDeleteThank you Sonia for introducing me to Edward Hopper!
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard of him before but that first image caught my eye immediately.
I followed your link and was amazed.
I love "Gas" and I do recall seeing "Nighthawk" somewhere before.
You might enjoy a visit to Carlene at Knitsquirrel today (http://www.knitsquirrel.blogspot.com/) - and follow her link to Peter Callesen - his framed works are amazing.

ReplyDeleteI hadn't seen the Puppy by Jeff Koons before (I loved his shiny metallic magenta Balloon Dog in front of Palazzo Grassi in Venice). Edward Hopper's "Nighthawks" is one of my favorite paintings. I'd love to run back to Chicago, and stand in front of it again!
The shiny magenta Koon sculpture in front of Palazzo Grassi is a poodle, of course. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a nice series of pictures.
ReplyDeleteI am being plagued by a little siamese while trying to blog. She has just managed to delete 4 emails from my in try :)
