This post continues to show photos of Clotheslines taken in Venice. I wanted to thanks to Britt-Arnhild from Britt-Arnhild's House in the Woods and to Roz, from Autumn Cottage Diarist, for its beautiful photos. My thanks also to Eduardo, from Varal de Idéias , for the inspiration to this Clothesline's Post.

  1. Bom dia!

Beautiful photos and delightful music, Sonia. Obrigada.

You know, first time I saw that many clotheslines was when I visited Napoli, many years ago, and I didn't appreciate them at all. Probably because back then I was too snob and stupid! ;)

  5. Sonia, what a great idea for a series. I would love to see a similar theme done in Kowloon and other Asian cities.

  10. I love your concept of asking people to contribute photos based on a theme or topic to your blog. It makes so much sense because we all cannot be everywhere. I love this clothesline series. They are absolutely beautiful.

  19. Greetings. I followed a link from another blog and I'm glad I did.

This is a priceless post! Seeing Venice in relation to clothes lines is unique and wonderful. I especially love the last one with the reflections in the water.

Drying clothes on a line is mostly a thing of the past in my corner of the world.

I will certainly be back to see what else you have posted.

  21. Often my clothes blow from my clothes line - I would be very worried if I had to hang my clothes out over the water - they could disappear down a canal plug hole!
Great post as always - lots of fun!

  22. Nice pictures and a souvenir to me ! I have been 3 times in Venice because my husband's family doesn't live that far away from there. It really is a very special town. I am back from my Turkey round trip and as soon as I have catched up with my blog work, I will write and show pictures about my trip. What a historical country !

  30. This is a very innovative idea Sonia. I love the clothesline photos. What a great theme! It gives us a bit of insight into the Venetian way of life....so different from ours by the looks of things.
Absolutely wonderful photos! The pastel colors and reflections in the last are gorgeous, but they're all fabulous!
    Thank you!
I enjoyed all the bookshelves too :)

Ainda vou voltar bpara ler a do Eduardo G.Fonseca.
    Muito boa idéia!
    Tanks!
    bye bye
Ah! e um Kiss to you

A kiss to you, too!
