NEIL FINN - DRIVING ME MAD & DON'T DREAM IT'S OVER

Neil Mullane Finn (Born 27 May 1958) is a New Zealand singer/songwriter and musician. With his brother Tim Finn, he was the co-frontman for Split Enz, a project that he joined after it was initially founded by Tim and others, and is now frontman for Crowded House. He has also recorded several successful solo albums and assembled diverse musicians for the 7 Worlds Collide project; contributor Ed O'Brien, also guitarist for Radiohead, has hailed Finn as popular music's "most prolific writer of great songs". Finn rose to prominence in the late 1970s with Split Enz and wrote the successful songs "One Step Ahead", "History Never Repeats", "I Got You" and "Message to My Girl", among others. Finn rose to international fame after Split Enz broke up in 1984. While his brother Tim left for England, Neil was the founder of Crowded House with Split Enz's last drummer Paul Hester in 1985. The group achieved international success in 1987 when they released the beautiful single "Don't Dream It's Over", written by Neil. 

Neil Mullane Finn (Nasceu em 27 de maio de 1958) é um cantor e compositor neozelandês. Ele foi vocalista e líder do grupo Crowed House e, anteriormente, da banda neozelandesa chamada Split Enz. Finn ficou conhecido no final dos anos 1970 depois de substituir o vocalista e compositor Phil Judd na banda Splitz Enz da qual fazia parte seu irmão Tim Finn. Com o grupo, Finn escreveu os hits "One Step Ahead", History Never Repeats", "I Got You" e Message to My Girl", entre outros. No Crowed House, Finn permaneceu até 1996, para iniciar uma bem sucedida carreira solo, lançando dois albuns com o irmão Tim, intitulados "Finn Brothers". Em 2007, Finn reuniu o Crowded e juntos lançaram um novo ábum, Time on Earth começando a turnê mundial. Finn cantou uma versão de "Misty Mountains", música tema do filme "O Hobbit: Uma Jornada Inesperada". Sua linda composição "Don't Dream It's Over faz muito sucesso até hoje.
