Walking around my garden today I became enchanted by the first pink flower blooming on bare branches of Ipê-Rosa (Pink Tabebuia) tree. Before blooming, the leaves fall down on the grass and in few days this tree will be full of pink flowers. Just beautiful! I love the sound of dry leaves crunching under my footsteps and skittering along the ground with the wind...
Dando uma volta hoje pelo meu jardim me encantei com as primeiras flores do Ipê-Rosa. Antes da florada, a árvore perde todas as suas folhas que caem no gramado. Em alguns dias, a árvore estará toda rosa. Linda! Gosto do barulhinho que as folhas secas fazem quando ando sobre elas e também quando elas se agitam com o vento...

This is the MOST BEAUTIFUL Tree in Bloom---I remember when you posted those pictures, (I just took another look..) And it is almost unreal in it's beauty, isn't it? I would LOVE to see this tree "in Person" and take pictures of these blossoms, close up....It takes your Breath Away, Sonia.
