ReplyDeleteGreat views, Sonia. The second picture of the house with the countryside landscape in the background is so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteHappy weekend!
I love the way they look, but I know from experience that trimming it off the windows is very time-consuming!
ReplyDeleteOh I adore them too, especially those stone and brick houses/buildings covered with ivy.
Adoro!
Bj grande.

I'm fascinated by these ivy covered buildings, too. I just took a photo of one a few days ago. I'll post it soon.
ReplyDeleteHappy Ecological Day!

Such lovely images,
ReplyDeletethey evoke vivid memories of our home in Washington, DC, which was covered by ivy. I miss it dearly!
Happy belated anniversary to your beautiful blog!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy to see Rio won the place for olympic games!
You are right! (The two first photos seem to have been taken in France!)
ReplyDeleteI agree, the houses with ivy climbing up the walls look wonderful, but I am very happy that there is NO ivy on my house!
ReplyDeleteLike you, Sonia...I love the way Ivy looks climbing up the sides of homes and buildings...I LOVE those first two pictures, in particular...But, ALL of them are Wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThe pnly bad thing about Ivy here in Los Angeles--And maybe everywhere---the Rats live in it...OY! (lol)
I love the look too! Wow! These are great photographs. Congrats on your 4th anniversary, and thank you very much for the comments you have left me.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations for the fourth anniversary of the blog Sonia, Due to various reasons i have been away from the computer for long periods, but when ever i visited your blogs i was in for a visual treat. Your page is a joy for every one. Hope you continue to inspire your readers in the years to come.
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing fine Sonia.
Hello Sonia!
ReplyDeleteAbout your question, those cranes in my photo are for the construction of a new large road (a sort of highway) in Turin and the skyscraper is the RAI (Radio-Television Broadcasting) building.
Have a very nice day!
Sonia,
ReplyDeletetambém adoro!
Parabéns pelo quarto ano do Leaves. Já é uma garotona. Muito bom estar aqui.

I would love to live in an ivy covered house with green trees and flowers everywhere.
ReplyDeleteBjus
oh I love these!
ReplyDeleteYes, there is something elegant and lovely about ivy-covered buildings.
ReplyDeleteA visual treat.
Though some people feel it is bad for the structure itself.
Oi Sonia!
Beijus
ReplyDeleteHello Sonia !
ReplyDeleteI like the greenry on houses but I say to myself it will be full of beasts.Over here at this time, a lot of bif spiders come into homes.
Sonia, nice to read about the name of your blog "LEAVES OF GRASS". Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend!
Virginia creeper is less invasive than ivy. Ivy has to be cut regularly if we don't want it to get into the tiniest craks of houses...
ReplyDeleteThe beautiful houses you are showing fit with the families shown a few days ago on your blog... lol
ReplyDeleteI finally had a chance to post my photo. Thanks for the inspiration. ;-)
