HI LARA, I don’t have your blog address to thank you for your nice comments you have been left on my posts. I really appreciated them! Please, I would like to know your blog address or your e-mail to thank you properly. My kind regards, Sonia.
Hi again! Those are some great orchids, what I have learned they can be pretty tricky to maintain. I have had some in a pot, but ofcourse they don't enjoy so much living inside a house. Yours are blooming so much!
I LOVE Orchids, Sonia...These are so very beautiful! All of them! But that first one is quite extraordinary, isn't it? That third picture---I think I have seen that Orchid, but I'm not sure. I would need to see it closer. I LOVE That your son planted that first one. Did he plant the others, too?
And I do not have any Orchids in my garden, but often I have an Orchid or two in a pot, in the house. Such beautiful exotic plants!
Wonderful garden! I dont plant them because i dont have garden or time. but every year i see many in Madeira island where i go on vacation. I hope this year to post some.
Hi Sonia, Your orchids are beautiful :) We grow them here too, and they take very little care. Most of mine came from my Mom and Grandma, so they are quite old. xo
Bjs Denise
Sonia...thank you for your sweet visit...Wow! Your orchids are just gorgeous and you have so many different varieties...Your blog is lovely and I've really enjoyed some of your older post...Best Wishes..Dee Dee
I have never had an orchid but these are beautiful! You live in a climate where you can have these lovely things outdoors all year round! Very nice!! Thanks for sharing Sonia! Just lovely plants!!
OHH Sonia I simply love your Orchids they are beautiful specially the Mauve one. I Grow a few Cymbidium orchids they suit our climate.but of course there not flowering yet Maybe another moth or 2..
How lucky to have orchids growing in your garden! We have a type of orchid called Lady Slippers which grow wild on our cottage property. They bloom in May but do not like to be moved so they don't grow in gardens, but it is just as nice to stroll through the woods and see them growing there the way Nature planted them.
First, my apologies for a bit of cut and paste commenting. I have been doing the rounds via Bloglines and looking at all the pictures from my favourite photo blogs, but haven’t been leaving comments. Generally, I try to comment every three or so days (I know how good it is for ‘morale’ to know that someone is out there appreciating them), but after the birth of my second son, I am a bit knackered to think up something witty and insightful on the hop. Thus the resort to Control+C and Control+P!
Your orchids look like they are flourishing. I am from California and we can grow Epidendrium orchids, cymbidiums and cattleyas but dendrobiums don't do well here, at least not in the garden. Those are some nice photos, thanks for sharing. Sincerely, Phillip Estenson 1888Orchids.com
Beautiful orchards. I have a small house in northern Laos, and my neighbor's son keeps the yard bright with orchards and other flowers. The purple and white orchards at the top of your post are just like a species of orchard we have here.
I've just offer one like your yellow one to my husband! But, here, in France, orchids have to be kept inside... You never forget to visit Arradon DP, Sonia, thank you so much.
Must say that I am green with envy at your orchids out in the garden. I've two pots that I guard and there is always something that goes wrong with them. Now the leaves of the white one are drying out :(
Oh how lovely, and very exotic! I live in the northern United States, and thus orchids are out of the question for me, but I have loved seeing yours. :)

ReplyDeleteWe don't usually grow them outdoors here Sonia. Most of them are kept indoors. The only season they would like outdoors is summer.

No post today? :(
