MISSING YOU SO MUCH.... MUITAS SAUDADES DE VOCÊ...

It's time of Flame Vine, (Pyrostegia venusta) in Portuguese known as "Flor-de-São João", originally endemic to Brazil. These beautiful orange flowers begins to bloom in May and runs until September. They are considered invasive and climbs with its tendrils and curling up in the branches and on the canopy of trees, spreading through the undergrowth, climbing up the lampposts and curling up in telephone wires and electricity. They have medicinal properties and are toxic too.

We had those trumpet vines in South Africa, as too the Jacaranda ... but the vibrancy of those orange trumpets bring your home to life.

With many thoughts - and all the best for a peaceful and blessed Easter and year ahead - Hilary
