You know, first time I saw that many clotheslines was when I visited Napoli, many years ago, and I didn't appreciate them at all. Probably because back then I was too snob and stupid! ;)

ReplyDeleteThis is a priceless post! Seeing Venice in relation to clothes lines is unique and wonderful. I especially love the last one with the reflections in the water.
Drying clothes on a line is mostly a thing of the past in my corner of the world.

Often my clothes blow from my clothes line - I would be very worried if I had to hang my clothes out over the water - they could disappear down a canal plug hole!

Nice pictures and a souvenir to me ! I have been 3 times in Venice because my husband's family doesn't live that far away from there. It really is a very special town. I am back from my Turkey round trip and as soon as I have catched up with my blog work, I will write and show pictures about my trip. What a historical country !

This is a very innovative idea Sonia. I love the clothesline photos. What a great theme! It gives us a bit of insight into the Venetian way of life....so different from ours by the looks of things.

Obrigada Valter, fiquei contente por você ter gostado da entrevista. Não tenho nenhum retorno em relação a esses links que coloco na relação dos livros, assim não sei se as pessoas acessam. Você foi o primeiro que me deu esse feedback. A entrevista com o Eduardo Giannetti é excelente, realmente formidável. Para mim ele é um dos melhores intelectuais brasileiros da atualidade. Ele é muito inteligente, preparado e muito simples, ou seja, ele fala e escreve de forma que a gente compreende muito bem! Este vídeo em particular é ótimo de ouvir pois não tem parada nenhuma, vai direto durante quase 55 minutos de gravação. Esse depoimento e debate são muito interessantes. O tema não é nada árido e é super útil para todos, principalmente para os jovens. Vale à pena ouvir. Já viu que sou fã do Giannetti! A kiss to you, too!
