  2. Sonia, the last two photos (panaromic view) are amazing. They look like a movie scene.

  5. Sonia, they look great! Is the round tree a mango tree?

  6. The trees have such a nice shape, Sonia! I love the one that appears to have branches almost to the ground.

  7. Thanks for having a look on my blog.

I often feel ashamed whe I look on others' blogs. This was again the case - but we are not competing, are we?

I looked through quickly (for the moment). I was more or less on my way to Sao Paolo (and Arapoti) end last year, but the trip was postponed and then I retired. Now at least I have a very good picture of Sao Paolo (the pope is still around?). The "book art" is fascinating and your idea about bookshelves interesting...

    I will be back.

  8. Thanks for visiting my blog.

I feel often ashamed when I look on others' blogs. This was again the case, when I looked at yours - but we are not in competition, are we?

I had a quick look (for the moment) and found a lot of intersting stuff. The "book art" was fascinating and your idea about bookshelves is a good one.

  9. Not at all the landscape I expected to see in Brazil (of course-I was thinking rainforest!). It looks like an Australian landscape.
I was blown away by Matej Kren's artworks (do you call these sculptures?) - I especially loved the photo of Idiom - an interior view.
Thank you very much for putting a link to where I live and to the other bloggers' homes - it sure does open up the world!

  16. Thanks, as always, for looking and visiting, folks!

Naomi: I don't know the species of this tree, but it's a native tree of the region. Yes, I agree with you, is so full and lush!

Cris: No, it is not a mango tree.

Letitia: Sure, I think so! It looks like an Australian landscape.
Another day I saw on this post of Val blog, VAL HAS HER SAY" photos of the Australian landscape and they looks like the same landscape of my region! A part of this landscape named "CERRADO", so "Cerrado" is the regional name given to the Brazilian ecosystem which is similar to savannas. "Cerrado" is formed by vegetal formations of variable aspects and physiognomy, mainly of small and twisted trees that become covered to an exuberant creeping plants. And you can see more about Cerrado on my post A WALK IN THE PARK and you can see more of my landscape on LANDSCAPES. Times ago a friend of mine told me that those photos of my landscapes looks like Africa landscapes! I agree with her! It's beautiful!

  19. Sonia,

I was just going to comment on how these photos remind me of the country landscape here in Victoria, Australia, remembering what you had written to me recently, and then I saw that you've mentioned it in a comment already. But you know, I think there is something about the light in the Southern Hemisphere that's different from the Northern Hemisphere, it even comes through in photos.
