The pleasure of reading... O prazer da leitura...

Karin, my friend from the blog Altadena Hiker, send me a website called Berfrois with a series of 35 beautiful paintings of women reading a book or a paper. Karin picture me as the woman reading on the porch. I love that portrait! Thanks!

    Yes, you're absolutely that romantic woman on the porch. I rather identify with portrait #2, and not just because I have that same blue cabinet in my kitchen.

    Very beautiful paintings Sonia! Love that your friend pictured you on the porch reading.. nothing better than reading on the porch. The colors are vibrant and Fall-ish. I also like the painting titled "Reading".

    Very beautiful, Sonia. This is a subject I really like. In my home, I have a miniature painting of a lovely lady reading, and a glass plate photonof a Victorian lady reading.
