Photos of the iron fence, gate and balcony of my mother's house taken when she completed her first anniversary, in 11 July 1915. My mother Antonietta was born and lived many years in Itu an historic municipality in the state of São Paulo, in Brazil.

What a grand house that was! And to have photographs going back that far is amazing - we have so few family photos from my parents and older generations.

ReplyDeleteIt is nice to look in detail to these pictures for example to the plants hanging on the side of the balcony or to your mother no too happy with all this going on disturbing her daily routine or to these two children playing on the fence that no one seems to have noticed :-)
What GREAT Pictures, Sonia......So very unusual----panoramic to the eye....They must have had a WONDERFUL Camera and a terrific photographer....I love seeing your mother way over to the right in that one picture---such a happy happy baby!These are great treasures, my dear.
