Mommy and kittens... Mamãe e gatinhos...

In the last month a tinny cat showed up on my garden. At first she was very shy in front of the camera and walked furtively around the garden. But one day, unexpectedly, she come back with four beautiful kittens and tranquilly and at ease nursed the babies kittens on my porch. Now she comes and goes surprisingly at her free will...
No mês passado uma gatinha magra apareceu no meu jardim. No começo ela era muito tímida diante da câmera e andava furtivamente pelo jardim. Mas um dia, inesperadamente, ela apareceu com quatro lindos gatinhos e tranquilamente, muito à vontade, começou a amamentá-los no meu terraço. Agora ela vai e vem inesperadamente, ao seu bel prazer...

    I'm so late in visiting Sonia! It's a hard life for a street cat and she must have known or felt that your property was a safe haven for her and her babies. The fact that she comes so close says there is unspoken trust and perhaps she's also wanting a connection for affection if not by touch than by soft words and talking. She is so lucky not all of the orphaned cats are. My daughter fosters the abandoned kittens and finds homes for them. She is quite successful.

    That's a very cute cat with her kittens, they're always fun to see. She's surprisingly tame to nurse so close to the house and out in the open like that.
