Death in Venice, is a 1971 Italian-French drama film directed by Luchino Visconti and starring Dirk Bogarde, Björn Andrésen, Silvana Mangano, Marisa Berenson, among others. It is based on the novella Death in Venice, first published in 1912 as Der Tod in Venedig by the German author Thomas Mann.
Morte em Veneza, é um filme ítalo-francês, de 1971, dirigido por Luchino Visconti, com os atores Dirk Bogarde, Björn Andrésen, Silvana Mangano, Marisa Berenson, entre outros. O roteiro do filme foi baseado na novela Morte em Veneza, escrita pelo autor alemão Thomas Mann, publicada em 1912.

  1. I need to read this book and watch the movie. Never been to Venice but after reading all of Donna Leon's book, which are wonderful and set in and around Venice, I'd like to make it a destination.

  3. That sounds like an interesting movie. I love classical music - I've been listening to Mahler's symphonies in order, I just finished Symphony 3 a couple of days ago.
