Oh! I forgot my eight blog anniversary... I don't know how I could forget this date... My first post was in September 29, 2005. Through 'Leaves of Grass' I've met so many lovely, amazing, sensible and witty people I actually consider my friends. Really it has been a great experience to me! I'm having a wonderful and happy time here! To celebrate, I'm adding the picture of my first post and some pictures of trees around my house. Thank you my dear blog readers!

de setembro de 2005. Através do 'Leaves of Grass' eu pude encontrar
pessoas adoráveis, incríveis, sensíveis e inteligentes, que eu posso considerar meus amigos. Realmente esta tem
sido uma rica experiência para mim! Tenho vivido maravilhosos e felizes momentos
aqui! Para comemorar, estou postando a foto do meu primeiro post e também fotos
das árvores ao redor da minha casa. Muito obrigada meus queridos

ReplyDeleteHi Pasadena Adjacent, that fruit is "Pitanga", from the Pitanga tree, in Portuguese named "Pitangueira". It is also called Surinam cherry, (Eugenia uniflora).

Thanks for that quote, having a chronic illness that I am able to control somewhat, that quote rings so true. That's why I work so hard trying to keep my type 1 diabetes under control. I copied the quote and will use it sometime later in my blog. Thanks.
