WALKING (REMEMBERING FLORA)... PASSEANDO (RELEMBRANDO FLORA)...

The post below was from four years ago, but I would love it could have been yesterday...

Come on, let's walk now! Venha, vamos passear!

I wonder to know who walked around here... a strange dog? a cat? a mouse? a snake???!!!!

Mom, why did you stop? Come on! Mamãe, porque você parou? Vamos!

Sniff.... sniff...

It was very hot! Nice to found a shadow to rest for a bit!

What a delight! Drink fresh and clean water! Que delícia! Beber água fresca e limpa!

Walking can be so exhausting... Passear pode ser tão cansativo...

It's nice to be home again! Que gostoso voltar pra casa!

Photos taken by myself.

This week's challenge on Photo Friday is 'Nature Walk'.

  9. How time passes. I think when I first met you, it might have been over one of Flora's walks. I know you still miss her and I wonder if you'll ever have another doggy friend to go for these great walks with. I hope you do. Abraços fortes x

  10. Sonia -- I hope you bring another dog into your home.

Once again I enjoy your panoramas of your surroundings . . . the reddish earth, the open countryside, the lake.

  12. We must be breathing the same air, dear Sonia. I, too, have been grieving again, looking at old photos, and longing for the presence of dear canine friends such as your Flora and my Maggie (3 years this November). I'm a better person because of Maggie, and I imagine you would say the same of your beautiful girl. Lovely, sweet photos.

  15. Love the pictures and it made me get teary as I think again of my own little buddy, a cat though, who I lost this summer. They are such a gift and leave such a hole when they go.

  17. Seeing Flora again brings tears to my eyes, as I just lost my Soldier at the age of 13. But I know we have to be grateful for the time we get to spend with our dear furry friends.

This is such a great photo essay of the life of one happy dog.
