MY HOUSE... MINHA CASA...

My house is situated in State of São Paulo, Brazil, at the margin of Jurumirim Dam. Jurumirim Dam is a reservoir located in the river Paranapanema, bathing 10 municipalities: Avaré, Paranapanema, Itaí, Cerqueira César, Arandu, Tejupá, Taquarituba, Itatinga, Angatuba and Piraju. Its structure allows the generation of 98 MW to the Brazilian energy system. Jurumirim Dam has a reservoir of 449km2 long, bathing a region of great economic development and encouraging sports, leisure and tourism.

  1. Ahhhhh, Beautiful, dear Sonia. I seem to recall seeing The BIG Picture of where you are located from a number of years ago. It is WONDERFUL to be able to visualize it all from such a great overview, and then see that GORGEOUS Pink Tree, again and The Exquisite Yellow Tree, too. You live in such a very Beautiful area, dear Sonia.

  10. What a beautiful place to have a home!
Sonia, I am retired now, but I was a cartographer for decades. I so enjoy maps and aerial photography and imagery, so I really enjoyed this post showing the lay of the land.

  11. It looks like you have a rain forest not far from where you live - is it? a tropical forrest? Such an interesting area and neighbors at a distance. How great is that!!! The land is flat - are you able to walk long distances or is properties blocked off by fences. All so curious for me

and the water feature in your yard....is it a swimming pool, hot tub or fountain?
