AMUSEMENT PARK.... PARQUE DE DIVERSÕES...

These photos of a small Amusement Park were taken by my husband in a cold evening at Holambra's Fields, the village near our house. This typical country park just opened that day and it was almost empty... Did you see the dog layed in front of the shooting ranges?

I did the same post in July 11, 2009 and I post it again for all those who did not saw it yet.
Eu publiquei este mesmo post em 11 de Julho de 2009 e repito agora, para aqueles que ainda não o viram.

The dog wake up with the flash of the camera.
Poor girl, looks she has a contusion on her paw.

  1. Kind of quiet and lonely looking. Almost as if it is the end of the party.

  4. Your header photo is exquisite Sonia.
It's a little sad seeing such a fun amusment park so empty! But you did say it had just opened for the evening - I sure hope it got busier for their sakes!
    Well done Carlos!

I agree with you, the header photo was a little sad and I just changed it for one more amusing. Thank you!

  6. What fun, and what a great place to take photos. I haven't been to an amusement park in a long time.

  7. A wonderful variety of photos, Sonia. Some moody, some fun. These places remind me of racetracks, in that they're their own little world, we just visit. The people who travel town to town, we call them carnies.

  9. I am always admiring people making a living from driving from town to town... with all kinds of equipments never knowing in advance if people will respond to their ads or callings.

  10. Lots of colour!
Have you ever been on that one with the little cages?
    I have.
    It was awful.
You get stuck at the top of the wheel hanging upside down being held by a bar across your stomach.
    It hurt!

  11. Well, this does look lonely for an amusement park!
I'm sure the dog is better by now!

All best wishes for a wonderful weekend.

  13. Haunting photos of the lit up, yet empty amusement park. I hope the dog's foot healed well.

  16. Lovely collection of photos. These traveling amusement parks aren't to different from those that come through my area. The people running them are always a little left from center

  18. There is something about a traveling amusement park that I find very endearing. We have one come to our town every year. & I always love looking at the ferris wheel & riding in it too.

Your husband captured the park well Sonia,
& I especially love your banner shot.
