ReplyDeleteWhat a great series of paintings. I love reading, it's one of my favorite things, whether it's a paperback book or an old classic on my Nook. I can get so lost in a book and completely forget about my sometimes frustrating life!

ReplyDeleteI have the habit of reading many books at the same time... This year I had been reading many books.
Now there are three on my bedside table:
1) "Too much happiness: stories" by Alice Munro. Just great stories! (In Portuguese, means "Felicidade Demais".)
2) "Sunset Park", by Paul Auster, the same title in Portuguese. I had been reading many books of Paul Auster. Love principally "The Invention of Solitude" ("A Invenção da Solidão") and "Timbuktu". Timbuktu is about the life of a dog, Mr Bones, who is struggling to come to terms with the fact that his homeless master is dying. Love it!
3) "Please Look After Mom", by Kyung -Sook Shin. ("Por favor Cuide da Mamãe".) Reading this author for the first time.
That question of you both give me an idea of a post!
