  1. Wow - your blog header photo is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! All of these photos are beautiful. What kind of camera do you have? Lantana, the flower in the last photo, is one of my favorites - I plant it every year!

  2. What IS that photo in your header, the one that looks like a "pink pincushion??"

  3. Hi Brenda!
Yes, the flowers looks like "pink pincushion", but it is named in Brazil "Esponjinha" (Calliandra tweedii). Please, click on these links to see more of these beautiful flower: Calliandra and Photos of Calliandra.

I love Lantana too, but did you know that this delicate flower germinates by itself?

My camera is Sony DSC-W210 with lenses Carl Zeiss.

Thanks for your visiting and nice comments!

  15. Oi Sonia

  22. Oi Sonia, tudo bem? Those are beautiful. I wish I had more flowers in my little courtyard but they keep dying on me. Only the big trees and bushes grow wild. I think lantanas are considered noxious weeds here ;) I like picking them for Georgia's collar though. Beijos xox

P.S. this reminds me I have a couple more Brazil posts to write kkkkk. (I learnt this recently. Also rsrsrs!)

  24. I just discovered your Blog. I love it especially because you have so many wonderful photos of your garden and the area. I try to do the same here on the shores of Lake Michigan USA. Most photos are only taken right here on the property along the shore. If you look through some of the past archives you will see photos that will remind you of the ones you posted of the moon recently. Very nice. I will be following your Blog. Jack
