Greetings from rainy - not quit snowy yet - Finland! But we could still already to ski here because they have used snow of last winter, which have had under covers the whole summer :)And ski trucks are ready.
A dog is best, you know it and I know it and this old woman in your photos knows it.
magical magical magical! The old lady's hat and dress, and that bag...and that wonderful old pooch. YOu can just see him creaking along. I love street shots and this is brilliant.
We all need a little friend, yes? I love my three little friends. Her friend looks a little bit like Flora - just different colours. She's wearing a Billabong t-shirt! That's an Australian company!
What a beautiful post. So much is conveyed in a simple series of photos. And the fact that you did not explain each of the photos, who the woman was, where she has been and where she is going... makes it more powerful. We are left to our own imagination. Is she homeless? Or perhaps returning from the laundromat? And her faithful old friend with her, wonderful - poignant.
