FLOCK FLIGHT... REVOADA...

Love the flock of little black birds that visit my yard and garden frequently, to feed on the ground and eat insects and seeds. They are Chopi Blackbird, Gnorimopsar chopi, a species of bird in the Icteridae family. They are found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, pastureland, and heavily degraded former forest.

É a única espécie do género.

  8. We have starlings that come in huge flocks flitting here and there chattering noisily as if at a tea party. Neat photos and video captures.

  10. I wonder if every country in the world has their own version of a "blackbird"?
We have the imported English one here.
    Does Flora chase them?

  12. Enjoying your bird videos! We have these sterlings that 'take over' if you have seed out and chase the other birds.... (not saying these were doing that) but funny how some birds are not as social as others ;)
