FLOCK FLIGHT... REVOADA...
Love the flock of little black birds that visit my yard and garden frequently, to feed on the ground and eat insects and seeds. They are Chopi Blackbird, Gnorimopsar chopi, a species of bird in the Icteridae family. They are found in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay, Peru, and Uruguay. Its natural habitats are dry savanna, subtropical or tropical seasonally wet or flooded lowland grassland, pastureland, and heavily degraded former forest.
É a única espécie do género.

Birdwatching is so fascinating.
ReplyDeleteWe went to the Botanical Gardens yesterday --a great treat though a little chilly still.
Greetings to you and Flora!
I love birds!!
ReplyDeleteWe have starlings that come in huge flocks flitting here and there chattering noisily as if at a tea party. Neat photos and video captures.
ReplyDeleteI love seeing the birds that are native to Brasil.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if every country in the world has their own version of a "blackbird"?
ReplyDeleteWe have the imported English one here.
Does Flora chase them?
And your happy critters attract us. I love visiting your neck of the woods.
ReplyDeleteEnjoying your bird videos! We have these sterlings that 'take over' if you have seed out and chase the other birds.... (not saying these were doing that) but funny how some birds are not as social as others ;)
ReplyDeleteDid you freighten them with purpose, so we could see them fly? :-)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it amazing how so many birds seem to fly as one instead of many? :)
ReplyDeleteInteresting and beautiful. Abracos
