    what wonderful views! and I have really enjoyed you previous tree posts too, wonderful forms and light! I especially enjoy the trees that are "trimmed" in a straight line at the bottom, i imagine goats or cows have gathered under the trees for shade, and nibbled off all the leaves as high as they can reach and left a perfectly straight edge to the trees. We get the same effect here, and with the sun on the grass and the deep shadow of the tree they look wonderful!
    The Stryphnodendron barbatiman is a lovely tree, it looks a lot like a Jacaranda minus the clouds of purple flowers (Jacaranda is one of my absolute favourite trees!)
