WILD DUCKS GATHERING

I have not seen anything like it before, many wild ducks and some herons gathering on the edge of the Dam, near our house, last friday. Quickly we took thoses photos. It's been raining and cloudy here for the last few days, so these pictures are not so good, but it gives you all an idea of this amazing scene!

    Fascinating photos ... it's such a blessing to see how wildlife gather for no humanly known reason. It's so cold up here right now ... it's nice to know that this is not true everywhere.

    just amazing how they seem lined up on the shore! Wonderful pictures! I was suprised when I caught the Canadian geese Nugget was looking at (my post before last) Love bird pictures!

    This is Amazing, Sonia....And you said you have never seen this before. What do you think is happening now that is different?
    I just LOVE that there so many of these beautiful birds ALL Lined up like that....! FABULOUS PICTURES! Did you blow them up at all to see the birds bigger??
    It is TRULY an amazing sight!

    Isn't it exciting to see something out of the ordinary in the view outside our windows? I love seeing an unusual bird or animal at our feeders.

    Sonia, no norte da França onde morei durante anos as pessoas caçavam esses patos selvagens.
    Eu tinha um amigo que vinha de Paris pra caçar, enchia a geladeira da casa de praia de patos mortos e depois fazia sabe-se lá o que com aquilo. Uma "Patada"???
    Eu tinha até medo de abrir aquela geladeira e encontrar um monte de patos mortos !

    Tudo bem com vcs?
    E a Escola da sua filha,quis passar lá quando estive em Avaré,mas não lembrava em que rua ficava.
    esses paturis,tem aos montes lá na nossa chácara,antes eles migravam para outros lugares quando chegava o calor,agora acredito que chocaram na lagoa e moram por lá.Já fiz fotos lindas deles,acho que vc já viu no meu blog,não?
