WALKING AROUND MY NEIGHBORHOOD

There is not much interesting going on these days. I just don't have much to post and nothing worth mentioning... So, today I post some photos from our everyday walking around. I hope I don't bore you all too much with those photos, because I guess you had been seeing those landscapes many times... I need so much alternative views and to see others horizons for a change....

    Isn't it nice in a certain way that there is nothing special to report?

    Happy to see your beautiful house and the surroundings again. Incredicible the landscape you have around - and such a lot of space!

    How far is it beween you and the closest neighbours?

    Yes, I guess all dogs eat grass; it's normal!

    Hi Peter, thanks for your visiting and nice words!

    About your question concerning the close neighbors, on the 3# photo you see the roof of my house and on the left you can see the roof of other neighbor. On the 7# photo you can see three houses and they are near my house about 200 meters. But there are many variations between the neighbor’s yards, some are near some are most far away. Anyway, it is a bit lonely because the most part of those houses are weekend and vacations houses.

    Each one of these photos is stunning. Over all I love the first: I'd be able to sit there for hours as for hours I'd be able to watch a Van Gogh's paint. Then I love the 10th (9430) photo because that dead tree take me back to "Out of Africa" (in Italian is "La mia Africa") and it touch me....

    Sonia, hoje estou numa posição mais confortável, mas sei que há alguns meses teria inveja com certeza desse ar que você respira aí.
    Gente este lugar é maravilhoso, toda essa vegetação previlegia que por aí está. Dá para respirar fundo e toda paisagem oferecida é de um descanso intenso.
    Embora entendo que descanso demais enjoa, mas você está numa situação ´muito confortável.
    Hoje também não posso reclamar, tenho ar puro, bastante umidade, as vezes até demais. Todo um clima saudável.
    Estamos bem próximos do pé da serra, então temos proximidade com muita vegetação.
    Mas sem mudar de lugar, o seu é lindo.

    When I see those your landscapes and views, it`s difficult to imagine distances. So much space there in every direction. It`s beautiful!

    Seeing where you live and the surrounding area is never boring Sonia...It is all beautiful and the pictures are so artful! I LOVE FLORA! She is such a sweetheart!
    I love all those trees, too...They look like sculptures in their way, you know? I am also always amazed at the BEAUTIFUL red/brown dirt of the road...It is so rich looking...it is no wonder you have so many gorgeous trees and bushes and plsnys thriving their!

    I know I have said it before, but your photos remind me so much of home (not the top bit of Australia but the bottom bit).

    Sonia, a cada vez que venho aqui, apaixono-me mais pelo teu lugar. Sempre gostei mais do campo que da praia. Chegamos a comprar uma pequena propriedade (2 alqueires apenas)na cidade de Álavres Machado/SP. Alí mandei fazer um tanque que chamávamos de " represa" e iriamos construir nossa casa. Não deu tempo, precisei me desfazer dela para pagar dívidas. Hoje tenho uma "represa" bem maior aqui. Mas em termos de beleza, ainda sou mais Jurumirim!s Dam, com certeza!

    Fabrizio: I agree with you, that dead tree take me back to "Out of Africa", too. Some part of Brazil's landscape remember Africa's savannas. If you go to see my post LANDSCAPE, you see the cerrado’s landscape. Cerrado is the regional name given to the Brazilian savannas. Around 85% of the great plateau which occupies Central Brazil was originally dominated by the "cerrado" landscape. The "cerrado" trees are very peculiar, with twisted trunks, covered by a thick bark, and leaves which are usually broad and rigid.

    Leena, Enseada Azul, where I have been living, on the edge of the Jurumirim's Dam is near Avaré City about 31 miles (50 km) and 165 miles (266 kilometers) far from São Paulo City.

    Freefalling, another Australian friend said it too. Val from VAL HAS HER SAY living in Melbourne said also that my landscape remember her the central Victorian landscape in some of photos. And Meow, living in Victoria, from VARIETIES OF LIFE said also that some of my landscapes's photos are reminiscent of Victorian countryside. So I would like to make a post with both landscapes, Brazil and Australia, someday!

    You have beautiful views; I love twisted dead trees, too. One of my favorite things to take pictures of in the winter are twisted trees in the snow.
