Walking beside the beach.

A beautiful view from my garden.

Walking in the greenway.

In front of my yard, a cow and her calf.

This is the entrance of my yard.

  2. Earlier I tried to leave a comment here but it got lost, I guess. :( anyway I loved the pictures. It's nice to see 'summer' when it's 'winter' where I am. You have such a beautiful location and you are so generous to share its bounties with the rest of us.

  6. Sonia, now those are the kinds of walks that I could get used to enjoying.

I love walking along beaches and being able to see the shore. We used to live along the Nova Scotia shore, but it was rocky and the water was cold.

Your neighborhood looks much more inviting.

  13. Thanks so much, everyone, for your generous comments!

Sandy and Paul, here is some information about the weather of São Paulo's State. Most of Brazil from São Paulo to the north is blessed with a tropical climate where it is difficult to tell when spring becomes summer and summer, autumn.Seasons in Brazil are the reverse of those in Europe and the United States:
    Spring: 22nd September - 21st December
    Summer: 22nd December - 21st March
    Autumn: 22nd March - 21st June
    Winter: 22nd June - 21st September

    São Paulo’s Weather:
Summer in São Paulo, officially begins around November and ends in March with temperatures reaching up to 104 degrees Fahrenheit (40 degrees Celsius). Expect occasional, brief storms. The climate is more temperate in the spring; winter is damp, but the temperature rarely becomes uncomfortably low. The tropical climate injects an certain unpredictability to the weather.
The Southeast enjoys a more moderate climate with cooler winters. The area includes the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Espírito Santo and Minas Gerais and extends from the mountains to the sea. Here you'll find the major cities of Belo Horizonte, Rio do Janeiro and São Paulo the largest city in Brazil and South America.

  26. Hi Sonia,
This is my first visit to your blog. Totally love your photos. Looks like a beautiful area to live. Most blogs I look at are currently experiencing Winter, so it's unusual to see sunny photos. I am in Australia, where we are also in warm weather.
    Take care,
